Well, I didn't loose any weight this last week, but I also didn't gain any. I've been sick all week, thanks to my darling husband, so working out has not been an option. Thankfully, I'm over the worst of it and am slowly starting to be able to breathe again.
This week is going by very slow, because I am excited for it to be over. That's the way it goes when you are looking forward to something. This weekend is our Sea World vacation with Jennifer :) yay! I don't plan on loosing weight this week either since I'm not strong enough to pass up cotton candy, cream cheese stuffed pretzels, and frozen lemonade at Sea World. Not yet! But at least all the walking we'll be doing will counteract a little bit of that :) And then when we get back I'll get myself right back on track and maybe even add more time to my work outs to make up for all the over indulging in California. Last time we went to Sea World we completely pigged out and I only gained 2 lbs, so if I don't go completely crazy, I should be alright.
Well, that's it for now! Check back next week for Sea World pictures and the story of our adventure :)

Weight Loss
YAY!!! I've lost 6 lbs so far! Kristopher and I bought a scale last night. We felt that we're not going to be able to accurately measure our success if we don't have a clue what we weight. Duh. So I made up a chart (in typical Stephanie fashion) and we will weigh ourselves every Sunday morning. I was really proud of myself last night because it was date night and instead of allowing myself to go all out on junk food, I made a meal plan before we left. This way I was aware of what I was going to eat and I was eating it on purpose. I also planned the rest of my meals for the day around what I knew I was going to be eating that night, so that I could eat less to make up for the popcorn I knew I wasn't going to give up at the theater. This made me happy because that's what I need. I know that I am never going to be successful if I deprive myself of all my favorite things when I go out. The key is to learn how to eat those kind of things without going over board. So, since I knew we were going to Chili's and then the movies (we saw Iron Man...REALLY good!)I knew I needed to plan ahead. I ate a smaller breakfast, I skipped one of my snacks, I ate a lighter lunch, and I drank water all day. That way I compensate for the extra calories I know I'm eating! I can do this!!
