Christmas Shopping Day

This weekend we had a shopping day! My mommy, my sister, and I went out and shopped 'till we dropped and we saw A Christmas Carol in 3D. It was great, but I can see why this is NOT a good movie for kids. I really did jump a couple times. We had a wonderful day though!

On our way to our first store, we drove past Santa on the cornder advertising some store, and Jennifer and I told my mom to wave, so she did and then she started cracking up over it. Then we ended up going to the wrong store, so we had to turn around and we drove by him again, and made my mom wave, which sent her into an even bigger laughing fit. Then, just for fun, we decided to drive by again...and this is what happened:

It's great fun making your mother not be able to breathe :)

This is the best shot of Jennifer and me I could get, she wasn't in a "picture taking mood."

So I kept trying to take them of her candidly...

Didn't work too well :)

My mom was up for it though :) This is us in our 3D glasses waiting for the movie to start.

We got a lot of shopping done and had a blast doing it! The end!

Getting Caught Up...

Ok I'm getting caught up on pics!

NOVEMBER-

Erika's Birthday:

Happy Birthday Erika! My sister in law's birthday was at Claim Jumper this year. Thanks again, Mike, for the $10 off coupons! They made my super expensive steak not so expensive :)

Jennifer's 21st Birthday:

I can't believe my baby sister is 21! She only has one more landmark to hit...she can't legally rent a car until she's 24, so she's still not 100% legal yet ;) only 99%. It's still so hard for be to grasp that she's in her twenties! Ugh! Well we had a great night out. Per our tradition (according to her boyfriend even though we've only done it once) we all went to Red Robin. The food was great, we laughed a lot, and Jennifer loved her gifts and was sung too. She ordered a fruity margarita drink, just one, and didn't even drink it all. Pretty tame as far as 21st birthdays go!

BLACK FRIDAY-
I will go into further detail AFTER Christmas as some people's gifts are involved and I don't want to give them away, but we had a BLAST! We left the house shortly after 2AM, grabbed some Starbucks, and hit the Sears line first. Then Victoria's Secret (see the SUPER cute FREE bag I got!!), then Target, then Wal-Mart. Surprisingly I got pretty much everything on my list! They weren't out of anything!

The Kitties In Their Holiday Best!-

Other Holiday Randomness:

(This is my super cute mini bottle of sparkling cider which I forgot that I can't drink becaues it's carbonated! Oh well, it's still cute!)

FINALLY!

I have FINALLY broken my Twilight saga curse and FINALLY read another book from start to finish :) YAY!
One of my favorite authors, Dan Brown, finally wrote another Robert Langdon adventure, this time taking him to Washington D.C. I'm grateful to him for keeping it in the US so that I can actually go see these places that are referenced in the book. Angels & Demons took place in Italy and The DaVinci Code took place in France, so it's not so easy to go see those places.
I'm not going to get into the book, because it's very controversial and it's one of those books that causes debates. I already know that some of you don't agree with my feelings on religion and stuff so I'm not going to talk too much about it. Let's just say, it made me very curious about some things, opened my mind to some others, and made me realize how fake some other things are.
Now I'm going to try to read another one of the books I started but then quit reading because I couldn't get stupid Twilight saga out of my head!

Internet

Dear Internet,
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate you. I am so glad that you are in my life. Sometimes I forget how much I need you and I take you for granted.

I love how you help me. I love how all I have to do is type in your search engine "movie with girl who's hands are cut off" when I forget the title of a movie I want to add to my Blockbuster queue (which I am also grateful for!), and you instantly show me 83 other people who were looking for the exact same movie, and then you just give me the answer! Because of you, my days of wandering around for days trying to remember things that are right on the tip of my tongue (you'll probably correct that misspelled word for me too!) are long gone. I love that I can type in "computer love" in your image search, and you pull up thousands of pictures that are just exactly what I was looking for to put on this post. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have this very nice job that allows me to work from the comfort of my own home. You save me hundreds of dollars in gas every month! My friends and I can keep in touch instantly from across the world without a stamp or a cent of long distance cost!

You just make my world an easier and better place!

I know I don't say it often enough, but Internet, my love... I adore you.
